Information we collect
We collect your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also collect your quiz scores, test results, and study progress to power your My Journey dashboard. We do not collect payment card details — all payments are processed securely by Stripe.
How we use your information
Your information is used solely to operate BeInsured: authenticating your account, storing your progress, processing your subscription, and sending transactional emails (password resets, receipts). We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
Data storage
Your account data is stored on Hostinger servers located in Canada and the European Union. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — we cannot read your password.
Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@beinsured.ca. We will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are processed within 14 business days.
